30/9/2010

Apparently, for the first time i used bankdraft to pay for my exam fees since the payment via credit card system was down for weeks. I got the parcel this morning which my dad used the courier service to deliver for me the bank draft. I was quite afraid to fill up the exam enquiry form since we have to correctly choose the variant that we're actually sitting for, UK Malaysia or International. Well, i went to the office, fill up the exam payment form, acknowledgement form, and photo copied the bank draft before i wrote my details on it. Hmm... Tedious? Well, it was just my FIRST time which made it seemed so tedious. Repeatedly i asked the office assistant to check for me twice whether did i make any mistake or what else did i have to do. In the end, i handed in GBP 162.00 which was equivalent to RM810 here for entering into 2 ACCA final optional papers. Crossing my hands and pray hard so that i face no obstacles until i finish my papers and graduate by the end of this December and good luck to my course mates too.

Well, a PTS was born due to poor results from the progress test 2 last month. Basically the poor results were due to the 'coming' raya holiday which caused students had no mood to study at all or so-called demotivated. Thus, a Progress Test Special; Progress Test Surprise; Penilaian Tahap Satu or Pembuang Tong Sampah whichever it is, is announced to be held next week. NEXT WEEK! Surprisingly my lecturer text me saying that the test would be carried out at night. =.= Seems like my college is very concerned about our results, as according to our director, those who fail to meet the requirement of passing rate will be barred from entering into the coming final in December. Of course students are afraid, like me likewise. @.@ LOL. So work harder dood!

Due to the PTS, i have to bring forward the celebration of our anniversary to this week. I've actually planned what to do when the day comes. But it doesn't matter anyway, our understanding is good enough to sustain the lost. :) So, i decided to bring her for a dinner tonight after her class, and for the present part, i'd already presented to her in advanced yesterday. :) I know it's too early for that, but what should i do if we meet some clashes with some other more important stuff in our daily lives? Just have to bear with it, though. Happy Anniversary dear, i'm happy to be with you. :*

Few days ago, i handed in the termination form of my hostel to the management as they'd sent me a reminder to renew my tenancy if i ever wanted to continue staying in the hostel. I renewed for the first year using the reason of having scholarship studying in my course, perhaps scholarship gives the priviledge of staying in the hostel? Perhaps, perhaps. While for the 2nd year, i used the reason that i would be studying for the last year in Sunway, and thus i succeeded again. (Another priority for staying in hostel - study for the last 12 months in the college) But then, for the third year which is this year, i'm not gonna renew it again anymore as i'll probably be leaving Sunway after i finish my finals. Therefore, throwing the termination form to the office is the right choice! Haha!

Dear khor yee jun.. Blah blah blah.. [Black Sheep.........]

To promote my hostel a bit here. The Sunway Apartment!!! Ta daaaaaa!

My unit's kitchen. Look small, though. The fridge is larger than some of the females' units. ;p

Ma toilet. There's another located just beside this one and it's blocked by the wall. The water pressure was great, just that a major problem that we face often is no water supply! :(

View from my kitchen, what you see here is the girls' unit. I can easily catch some eye sight on the naked girls. LOL! [ I was just joking, i can never see girls in their rooms from this view, unless they're in the garden. Perhaps they're the one to peep us - guys, half-naked when we're done bathing :$ ]

Da convenient shop! I love the food there, which will only be sold from 4.30pm onwards and if you go there late, the food will be finish selling. Its so delicious, yet so cheap!

Da Badminton Court, a.k.a. the garden. Students love to exercise there in the evening, and even at mid-night i could see student practicing their Taekwando there!

Well, memories grew here. I've the 4th roommate ever since i moved here. One of them moved to Singapore to pursue his studies by scholarship, the other one's tenancy had expired and the third had done his A-level course while this is the 4th roommate and guess i'll be the one to leave this time and not meeting another new roommate AGAIN. =.= Oh ya, news has been spreading around saying that the hostel will be demolished starting end of this year, unit by unit and a Sunway International School will be built soon! Sunway expansion plan was so great as there would be more constructions to go on after the completion of Sunway International Office - ISO.

Gonna sign off now, to prepare for dinner. Woot!!!!
Cheers!

After matches and matches of competition, our national/world no.1 Badminton finally had defeated one of the best players in the world or so-called the Olympic 2008 champion in Japan Open 2010 today. He grabbed away USD 200,000 with the title of Japan Open. See, USD 200,000?! Its a LOT if its converted into Malaysian Ringgit, and our Dato' won just like that, perhaps he put tonnes of effort before he won this competition. It was our Dato's 7th title in this season and being a supporter, im so proud of his performance in this season, despite the failure in the World Championship last month due to his back injury. However, in the coming Commonwealth Games, i hope his contribution will not fail to make our country more proud. Well anyway, should we go still need to 'balik China'? Well, if we do need, there'll be one important medal less for our country, or perhaps none. =) So, racist free live long!

In the final, though i don't have the opportunity to watch the match. :(

I had an unhealthy meal today. I grabbed the McValue with my gf as our brunch since we woke up quite late today. I was thinking of saving some money as i had spent not little weeks ago. But, sometimes, what to say? Money is just a matter of concern. I couldn't let it slip away from my mind. Well, don call me as a money face, i just hate it when i need some cash in an emergency if i don't have a spare. :) So, McValue is truly an awesome and value for money meal for lunch. Though it's damn unhealthy due to the oily chicken fillet. But who cares after all? I mean its students' life anyhow, especially for someone like us living abroad from our hometown and do not have any home-cooked food. OMG, i just miss my mom's food. How i wish she's here to cook for me like what i had during my teens which cause me no troubles when come to eating. :(

Night time another trouble for our dinner. I'm so lazy to think what to eat AGAIN, as we know staying in Sunway city, we have less choice. Choices are just among the few food courts here which i personally had already repeated them for n times. :( So i decided to have Maggi mee as my meal. ANOTHER UNHEALTHY food. Sigh. But whatsoever.. No wonder i have only one big tummy instead of the 4packs which i had years ago. Sobs.

Well, we went to the pet shop today to get some stuffs for our doggie. It seems like pet's maintenance is super crazier than human's. The food and the treats could really kill us off. Different types of treats and have to consider which food is most suitable for her and affordable by us. Especially for accounting students like us, we are VERY concern about the price. :p Anyway, we ended up spending RM80++ just for a dog, and we? Instant noodles for our dinner. LOL! Just joking anyway, choice of instant noodle came from the bored of repeating the same food everyday. =) But but but, who can resist from buying a better food for such a cute dog? Haha!

See?! This was her when she was only few months old. :) :)

See?! She's hiding in the blanket when there're noises around which known to her as 'bombing'! :p

Hmm Mmmm.. Night time approaches again. Time flies faster and faster since don't know when. Just a few flips of my eyes i ended up doing nothing in a day. Another miserable Monday is starting tomorrow, hope to get a better results in the coming weeks. :)
Cheers.

To Arthurs~! I was involved in this event last year. Black Eyed Peas came to Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach to perform in conjunction to the anniversary of the Guiness, RM98 paid but it was very worth it since we had a good view of the performers just few meters in front of the stage! However, this year seemed like the performance did not attract me. I don't even know that it was the Arthurs Day until i got to know it from the newspaper days before the event. Well, it doesn't matter much anyway, i had fun in my friend's house despite the miss-out of the fun in Sunway area. We went there for the celebration of moon-cake festival, or so-called a simple gathering. HEre are some of the pictures:

Without the flash mode.

With flash mode.

Lightness in the dark. xd

Oh well, it was truly a great night spent together with them. We drank, we played, we cheered and we shouted. I had also tried a quite delicious and mouthful meal at the William's stall near my friend's house, less than 500m i supposed? Hmm.. RM25++ paid by each person for 1 plate of Nasi Goreng Ketam, 1 plate Seafood Spaghetti and 3 jumbo Soda Hub. I love the Nasi Goreng Ketam the most, especially the soft shell crab, whereas for the seafood spaghetti, i had only touched a little bit, because i don't like the big clamp inside. :( The Soda Hub is the drink that i wanted to emphasize the most, it was a mixture of soda, pepper mint, Serai, and a can of Longan. The mixtures had made the decoration looked like the grasses in an aquarium! It was awesome overall, as told by my friend the night before i went to his house. However, in my opinion, the drink could taste much better if they had lesser pepper mint inside the drink so that i wouldn't have the effort to dig the 'grasses' out or even searched for Longan that were 'hiding' in the 'bushes'.

Oh yea! Before i forgot, TO ARTHURS! xd

Picture taken last year before we joined the crowd! =)

iphone 4 had just been launched few days ago. It was amazing. At first i thought only Maxis brought in the iphone 4, but who knows digi also brought in? Many people were wondering whether would the companies' competition grows or compromise with each other and bring a better future for iphone users. Hmm.. What could be seen was, the share price of digi increased a little after the lauching but maxis's remained unchanged.
Well, personally i'm attracted to the latest iphone. It has one of the most incredible apps for such a small device, though some of the parts were designed by others, such as from Samsung company. Well, i'm the holder of itouch 2nd generation. Just few months after the 3rd generation was out to the market was i faced with some disappointment as the price for the 2nd gen dropped for few hundreds. :( Even though my i-touch seemed to be a redundant for me, i do use it when i'm free, especially listening to songs. It was truly great, in addition to my one of the best ear-phones, the combination is just undescribable!

I'm so wanting to get the latest iphone 4. But when i think-twice, i already had an i-touch which has the same application with the latest apple devise and it could be more redundant if i get the phone. Basically, all the applications in the i-touch 2nd generation can be upgraded to the latest software and i already had it! Just that i couldn't make a phone call nor sending a message without the i'phone'. :(
I had browsed through both the companies' plan of getting the new iphone. Since i'm the users of digi, i think the ivalue pack from digi worth so much after all. However, just because i have to make an initial payment of RM2090, i have to wipe off my dream. :( Well, to have a better view of both the plans, please click here: http://www.digi.com.my/iphone/getone_want_iphone_payment.html for digi and here: http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/iphone4/rates.asp for maxis.

I gotta know that iphone is not only used for calling people, sending message, playing games, listening to songs, watching videos, viewing the pictures saved, browsing through the internet... It can also be used to start the engine of a mini motorbike and acts as the system gauge for the bike too! Have a clear view of the video below.

Oh well, just before i close this page, i would want to share a picture of my dog. She's so afraid of the fire-crackers, BING BANG BOOM from Sunway Surf Beach after the celebration of Arthurs' Day. :)

Sayonara doods!
Cheers.

10/9/2010

It was one of the best weekends to spend few days ago with some of my secondary classmates. The situation on Saturday's night refreshed my mind of what we had been through last time in the room, which was more than 2 years ago. Time flies, yet our friendship remains the same, still that cheeky, funny and crazy. Share some stories together before bed time. Hmm..

The day after we went to meet another friend near Taylor to have pork noodles as our brunch. I've no idea what made us to wait for 50 minutes for our food to arrive. It could be a good excuse if the kopitiam was full of people, but unfortunately it wasn't full. I observe the hawker preparing the noodle and guess what? His actions looked fast, yet it still slow. =.= I told myself, '50mins of waiting better deserve my stomach a good food, otherwise i'm gonna blow off the stall!' Well, it was okay, a bit too oily, though. My Sunday was full with shopping at Mid-valley. No doubt, the jam was like hell. Indeed, the parking was full of cars and visitors but fortunately, we're able to find a parking just after we enter the basement car-park. :) Well, i didn't buy anything actually, just accompanied my friend to find some Gundam stuff while my gf went to shop with her sister. 'Bak Kut Teh' @ You Ji in ss14 was our dinner. Invited another friend who was also our secondary classmate who's studying at Monash now to eat with us. Appreciate those moments a lot since we're all being separated after our secondary school life. I was already having my holiday, so my gf permitted me to overnight at my friend's house. Haha! According to one of them, he said, 'It so hard for Jun to get his passport to have night outing with friends, since he'd gotten now and gonna expire tomorrow, we shouldn't waste it!' We didn't do anything much anyway, but it was a total incredible night!

The next day, they rang me up to have a night outing again at the library in the curve. Of course i accepted the invitation! :D The Library ain't a club, it was just a pub where people could have a great social talk there. Having a glass of margarita, contained of some mint, lime and tequila based but you can't imagine how strong was the alcoholic drinks, i'd a quick sip of it before we left and i felt some dizziness already! We headed to my friend's friends' house who's super incredibly rich for a second round. The property cost around RM10 million after including the renovation and furniture. He was such a good and gentle guy. He opened a bottle of whisky and all of us went to his so-called 'singing' room and dosed off there. 3 shots of pure whisky and few cups mixed with Coca-Cola. Frankly, it was the first time in my life i got such a heavy alcoholic drinks. But i was still in a good position despite all those that i'd drank. Time showed 2 am and it's time to get some supper before going back. Driving half way and i felt some waves hitting my brain. Once i had it, once i don't and i felt so bad till i wanted to vomit. But i hold it until we reached Murni, the so-called mamak! I vomited all the drinks, felt so hurt inside. So, lesson for the night, 'Never drink so much when you can't take it'! Luckily, my gf wasn't drunk and credit for her to fetch the 3 drunken masters home. :)

Nothing could be bad except the day i came back to my hometown. Just after she went to class early in the morning, i woke up to pack my things and have a look on the conditions of the cars. Her car - checked; petrol pumped; tyre filled with sufficient of air. But her sister's car seemed to be so bad! I couldn't start the engine at all! The car was in absolute silence when i tried so hard to start it. I ran to the workshop, tried to get some helps and in the end i was told that batt failure caused her car to break down. :( I felt so 'mang chang' as i still had to drive to MPSJ to pay the summon she got few months ago and to USJ 6 to get my friends. :( But fortunately my determination succeeded all the difficulties, though i drove back the car with no air-cond. =.=

ps:/ i don't think i will ever do so much things again. what did i get in the end? NOTHING! :(

Having a week plus of holiday in my home. I think i'm gonna use this time efficiently to get some rests before another battle is on.
Cheers peeps!

Library the curve! XD

4/9/2010

What a week what a week what a week!! I somehow managed to dragged my girl friend back to hometown last Friday. With no specific reason, just for fun after getting our results. My parents promised me to bring all of us to Penang for a steamboat since we had back and i brought along the piggy too. ^^ It was such a long time we never got the chance to sit down together and had meal together. Ever since my big brother went out to study, for about 12 years ago, i hardly find an opportunity to makan with 6 of us together. I strongly remember last time when i was still living in the small rented house, my dad had to put his arm on the other bench and 6 of us squeezed into a small table and we took our dinner after my dad came back from work. Imagine, my dad put his arm on a bench while eating?! The table must be a small one. Yes indeed it was! But luckily i was still in size 4 that time. :) About 2 years after my brother 'ciao' to KL, my elder sister's time. And whenever we sent them to the bus station, sometimes i would be so emotional that my tears would roll down my cheek. [Don't laugh at me, i bet you would too!!]
Well, that night was a crazy night, in addition of 2 girls getting into my family. 8 of us having buffet steamboat, with no air-cond but just ceiling fans and all of us were sweating like hell while enjoying the food! I grabbed the dim sum the most, and then ice-cream, and then laksa, and then... then.. too much to mention anyway. I don't know why, but i like eating with my family together, i felt so blessed. Hmm..

Ma family!

It was my progress test 2 this week. Apparently i was not doing well, both the Advanced Tax and Advanced Audit, i just did 55/100 only. I have no idea why i don't have the ohm to make revision at all! Not a single second was available. I was thinking could it be lacking of motivation and challenge since many of my friends skipped it? I felt like no point staying inside the hall while i was having an empty mind, and kept on thinking for the coming holiday to get some rests. Less class in this semester doesn't mean i'm having more rest, just that i would want to get some rest with a peaceful mind. :( Well, i have to back up soon, at least before the mock, so that i won't get into trouble in the finals and hoping that i'll be graduating after this semester. *Praying hard*!

I should be having my Raya holiday starting last Tuesday if i didn't have the test yesterday since i don't have class anymore until the Malaysia Day is over on which is 16th! Muahaha! Very seldom and it is so unusual you can find holiday in ACCA course as our time table is sooo packed like the bees in the bee hives! So, i bet all my coursemates are feeling so grateful for this holiday! Woohoo!

Few days ago during the Merdeka Day, supposedly i was sleeping soundly and woke up happily in the morning. But my mood was broken down by my dog. I tried to find my spectacles but i couldn't and ended up i found it in my dog's cage with my eyes half-blinded. Whole specs spoil, the concave lens were full of her teeth marks and her sticky saliva was everywhere. The specs was actually new since i bought it last year January, but seemed like i have to get another new pair because of the naughty dog!

That's my new pair of specs, cost me blardy RM399!

Lately we could take a train ride into a shopping mall which is the Pyramid. But the train would carry you from Kuala Lumpur to Sunway Pyramid. Without any hesitation, both of us went to take a ride on it.

Don't be fooled, it was actually a fake train for display. HEHE!

It has been at least 3837600 seconds we being together. Happy anniversary dear! Hoping more to come soon!
Cheers!
